The Amityville Horror ist ein sehr gelungender Horrorfilm, welcher auf einer wahren Geschichte beruht. Es sind viele genialle Horroeffekte eingebaut, bei denen man tatsächlich zusammenschreckt. Hinzu kommt, dass die Geschichte bis zum ende hin sehr spannend gestaltet ist. Wird die Familie den Fluch besiegen?? -

In Summe ist Amityville Horror (Remake) durchaus sehenswert. Er bietet nach einem starken Auftakt dem Zuseher etwas Pause, um die Spannung dann zu steigern bis sie schliesslich in einem grande Finale endet. -

Der Film zieht mich seit nun schon fast 16 Jahren in seinen Bann, daher kann ich ihn wirklich nur weiter empfehlen. Am besten kommt der Film wenn Ihr Euch direkt im Anschluss die Dokus dazu anseht und ich versichere Euch in der Nacht werdet Ihr kein Auge mehr zumachen können. -
Ich bleibe lieber in meiner Mietwohnung :-)

Ich ging ohne viele Erwartungen an diesen Film heran und von daher wurde ich auch oder konnte ich auch nicht enttäuscht werden. Aber trotzdem, tolle Schauspieler und eine spannende Inszenierung machen ihn absolut sehenswert! -

Vorgeschichte:
28 Tage nach ihrem Einzug ereignen sich schreckliche Dinge im Haus der Defeos ( Amityville ). Ronald Defeos, von düsteren Visionen heimgesucht, ermordet im Auftrag einer misteriösen \"Stimme\" seine Familienmitglieder der Reihe nach, informiert die Polizei daraufhin und wird wenige Zeit später als Täter entlarvt.
