Es ist die Geschichte der einen Seite, dann gibt es noch einen zweiten Film, der die zweite Seite durchleuchtet. Finde ich eine tolle Idee und ist auch genial umgesetzt worden von Clint Eastwood! -

Nein
ilm konfrontiert, man hat gar das Gefühl das sich Eastwood schlichtweg mit seinem ambitionierten Projekt übernommen hat. Immerhin funktioniert der Film aber als kritischer Blick auf die amerikanische Heldenschaffung und die Instrumentalisierung jener Produkte für die Propagandamaschine. Doch das hilft kaum darüber hinweg das der Auftakt zu -

ein Film welcher zu einen teil auf der Insel Iwo Jima abspielt, Teilweise aber auch in den USA.
Leider wird der Teil in den USA zuviel ausgebaut das er stellenweise sehr langatmig ist.
