Es ist wie so oft, dass die DVD mit keinen besonderen Feature aufwartet. Aber darum ging es uns bei dem Film auch nicht. Der Film allein hat sich für die DVD schon gelohnt. -

Der Film macht Lust auf mehr und man freut sich jetzt schon auf den folgenden zweiten Teil. Ich kann diesen Film allen Fantasy-Märchen Fans wirklich absolut empfehlen, auch wenn die Extras auf der DVD recht mager sind. -

Das ganze spielt in einer Art Parallelwelt in der jeder Mensch seine Seele in Form eines Daemons an seiner Seite hat. Lyra ist eigentlich ein ganz normales Mädchen, bis ihr der Goldenen Kompass anvertraut wird und sie dahinterkommt was das Magisterium plant.
