Millionenfach verkaufte Tonträger und stadionfüllende Touren ließen die Kalifornier scheinbar in den Musik-Olymp aufsteigen, getragen von einer treuen Fanbase.
Hat man dieses Stadium erst einmal erreicht, so kann man alles produzieren, gekauft wird es sowieso.
Hier liegt auch das Problem. “A thousand Suns” versucht scheinbar diese Theorie -

Stilwechsel, viel Ambiente, sehr atmosphärisch, viel elektronisches, viel Pop, lahme Raps, allgemein zu ruhig - die Idee Konzeptalbum völlig unsinnig. Kraftlos."A Thousand Suns" ist nicht mehr Linkin Park wie wir sie kennen.
Aber die Ansätze sind nicht schlecht.
