Wenn man Charaktere, die auf einmal Feuerwehrmann oder Architekt waren mit viel Humor nimmt und nicht viel Wert auf einen logischen Aufbau einer Katastrophe legt, dann kann man durchaus seinen Spaß bekommen. Man sollte am besten nichts von diesem Film erwarten! -
Wer Action mit Wasser liebt, ist hier richtig!

Ich fand ihn gut, auch wenn er schlechte Kritiken erhalten hat, man hat das Beste herausgeholt und ich kannte das Original auch nicht. Ich fand er wurde direkt sehr spannend und actionreich! -

Was passiert, wenn ein Schiff umgestupst wird? Einfach nur untergehen wäre öde, also wurde schon vor ein paar Jahrzehnten die Story um eine Gruppe Überlebenswilliger erdacht und heute mit digitalen Effekten aufgemotzt neu erzählt. -

Das Remake eines noch gar nicht so alten Katastrophenfilms beeindruckt mit aufwändigen Kulissen und guten Spezialeffekten, während das Schicksal der tapfer aufspielenden Schauspieler kalt lässt: ein altmodischer Film, der unterhält aber nicht mitreißen kann.
