Science-Fiction Film mit Thomas Jane, Ron Perlman und John Malkovich, in der Menschen in Mutanten verwandelt werden und eine Gruppe von Kämpfern versucht, die Maschine, die dies tut, zu zerstören. Tolle Optik, gute Action. -

Ich fand, dass der Film doch ziemlich gut gelungen ist und die Splatterseznen besser wirken, wenn mit monochromern Farben aus dem Computer gearbeitet wird. Klar, die Geschichte ist nicht wirklich was Neues und es wurde auch ziemlich viel geklaut, aber dafür war die Umsetzung doch sehr gut. -

Zu Beginn wird erzählt wie alles begann und zwar dass eine Maschine aus dem All gekommen ist um Menschen in Mutanten zu verwandeln. Viele Stämme schlossen sich zusammen und vergruben diese Maschine unter der Erde und versiegelten sie. Doch bald wurde sie vergessen bis heute------ -

Ja
Wer sich wie ich Filme ansieht, um unterhalten zu werden, und keine tiefschürfenden Ansprüche stellt, wird den Film mögen. Für die ernsthafteren Cineasten dort draußen mag der Film zu vorhersehbar oder vielleicht auch ein bißchen schwach in der Handlung sein.
