Gedichte Testbericht

Kurz nachdem ich von meinem damaligen Freund gefragt wurde, ob ich seine Frau werden möchte, hab ich dieses Gedicht verfaßt. Mein bis dahin erster und auch einziger Versuch in die Richtung. Jetzt lasse ich es hier im Netz erscheinen...

I have

I have walked so many streets.
I have been to many places.
I have met so many men.
I have looked in different faces.

I have never known
that I could feel as much.
I have never shown
my feelings all that much.

I have never loved so deeply.
I have never known it that completely.

I have never felt that way.
How I wish that you could stay.
All the words I have to say
is that I never felt this way.

I have hidden so much of myself
never thought that I could show it.
Now you gave me a chance for myself.
I’m willing to take it.

I have built a wall around me.
I’m willing to tear it down.
I have not seen the woman inside me.
Now the shadows are crumbling down.

I have never wanted to get married.
You made me change my mind.
I have been all too worried.
Now I’m feeling nothing of that kind.

I have never wanted someone coming that close.
Always afraid I’d be the one to loose.
You made me change my way of thinking.
I feel like I never could be sinking.

All I know is what I feel.
All I feel is pretty real.
I have to say that I’m in love.
And I wish it on the stars above
that this feeling is gonna last.
I want you – with your past.
I want to share the future with you.
As for me – there is no life without you.

There are so many ways of talking about love.
Some say it comes from someone above.
I want to share my hopes and fears
All of the laughter and all the tears.

When I say what I feel –
Then I feel what I say.
I do love you –
In any way.

So, das Gedicht hängt jetzt seit Mitte ’99 gerahmt in unserem Wohnzimmer. Denn der Mann ist immer noch an meiner Seite und ich bin verdammt froh, das es ihn gibt.
Nobo, meine Maus, ich liebe Dich über alles! (Und unseren Sohn auch!)
