Ich kenne zwar das Original nicht aus den 80er Jahren, aber dieses Remake gefällt mir ganz gut. Wer auf Species oder Alien steht, wird diesen Film auch mögen, zwar wird die Welt nicht neu erfunden, aber gute Unterhaltung :-) -

Ja
kann man sich gut und gerne mal angucken und vor allem trügerisch-idyllische Landschaftsbilder genießen, die in mannigfaltigen Momenten an _„Shining“_ erinnern ~ doch als „packendes Meisterwerk“ kann man _„The Thing“_ meines Erachtens nach ganz und gar nicht bezeichnen.
Somit bleibts bei soliden zwei Sternen nebst der Neutralitätsempfehlung. -
Remake ist Prequel, macht Original zum Sequel

Das wär's 'dank' der neuen AGB für mich bei Yopi.de. Mit der Einstellung der 'Zahlungen' kann ich...Pro:
Tempo, fiese Tricks, angenehm altmodisches Ambiente.
Kontra:
Zu 'glatt' in der zudem kopierten Story, profilarme Figuren.

Der Insasse eines in der Antarktis havarierten Raumschiffes entpuppt sich als Eroberer, der seine menschlichen Retter zellengenau kopiert, was seine Opfer zu verhindern suchen … – Die Vorgeschichte zum Filmklassiker von 1982 stellt sich als weitgehend handlungsparallele Hommage im Retro-Look dar, die zwar spannend aber nur selten gruselig ist.
