Iron Maiden (Debüt) - Iron Maiden Testbericht

Hiho Leutz!

Hier und jetzt werden ihr etwas über das Debütalbum \"Iron Maiden\" von
\"Iron Maiden\" unter anderem mit dem Lied \"Iron Maiden\" erfahren.

Die CD war eigentlich mal ne Schallplatte, da CD\'s um 1980 herum
noch nicht ganz so verbreitet war, aber die Stücke wurden neu
aufgemischt und auf eine CD gepresst, damit wir auch heute noch
was von den Klassikern haben.

Iron Maiden hatten damals eben noch eine andere Besetzung;

Gesang : Paul Di\'anno
---------------------

Paul Di\'anno war der erste Iron Maiden Sänger und verliess Iron Maiden
aufgrund eines Soloprojektes. Nach ihm war Bruce Dickinson da, der
zwar auch einige Zeit mal gefehlt hatte, aber trotzdem seit dann
der Sänger war, der die meisten CD\'s mitverwirklichte.

Leadgitarre : Dave Murray
-------------------------

Leadgitarre kann man nicht direkt sagen, da beide Gitarristen sehr
anspruchsvolle Sachen spielen/gespielt haben. Dave Murray steht auch
heute noch oft mit Iron Maiden auf der Bühne und spielt fast alle
Solos.

Rhythmusgitarre : Dennis Stratton
---------------------------------

Über ihn kann ich nicht viel sagen, da er schon im nächsten Jahr (?)
wieder nicht in der Band war oder so; er war ein guter, aber
anscheinend nicht erwähnenswerter Gitarrist (oder verwechsel ich
da was???).

Drums : Clive Burr
------------------

Tja, leider kann ich über Clive Burr auch nicht viel sagen - ich
fand ihn extrem gut aber konnte keine genauen Informationen finden.

Bass : Steve Harris
-------------------

Ich finde immernoch das Steve Harris der beste Bassist war, den
Iron Maiden je hatte - er schrieb viele Texte und Lieder allein
oder mit ein bis zwei Freunden zusammen und viele davon wurden
verwirklicht wie z.B. Prowler oder Phantom Of The Opera.

Zum allgemeinen Sound der CD lässt sich nur eines sagen : Es ist noch
kein richtiger Heavy Metal sondern eher Hardrock (ja, da gibt es
Unterschiede!), aber es sind schon starke Ansätze zum heutigen Stil zu
hören.

Jetzt zu den Liedern im Detail:

1: Prowler (3:55)
-----------------

Das ist das Lied, von dem sich Papa Roach das Intro geklaut und minimal
verändert haben. Papa Roach benutzten es in ihrem Lied \"Between Angles
And Insects\". Ich finde es ist gleich eines der besten Lieder der
Platte, weil es einfach nur gut gelungen ist.

-------------------

Das ist ein Song den ich mir auch gerne anhöre; in dem Lied
geht es um einen Mord *lol*; schauts euch den Text an.

---------------------------

Dieses Lied ist eher langsam und besinnlich, mir hat es
nicht so großartig gefallen aber es ist trotzdem
hörenswert.

4: Running Free (3:16)
----------------------

Das ist mein absolutes Liedliebngslied von dieser CD, denn
der E-Bass kommt gut, das Schlagzeug auch und der Text
gefällt mir. Für die, die des Englischen nicht mächtig
sind : es geht um einen Jugendlichen Draufgänger :-)

5: Phantom Of The Opera (7:20)
------------------------------

Obwohl mir das Lied nicht ganz so gefällt, ist es mal
wieder ein Wahnsinn was die Gitarristen von Iron Maiden
gepackt haben - sollte man doch schon einmal gehört haben.

6: Transylvania (4:05)
----------------------

Über das Lied lässt sich nicht viel sagen - es ist
ein Instrumentales Stück und ich finde jeder Gitarrist
oder Bassist sollte mal versuchen das zu spielen, vorallem
weil es einfach gut klingt.

7: Strange World (5:45)
-----------------------

Leider muss ich sagen das ich bis auf den Text dem Lied
nichts gut finde; es ist einfach viel zu langsam (was
eigentlich nicht schlecht sein müsste, in dem Fall aber
schon) und es ist nicht \"gut genug gespielt\" um richtige
Emotionen beim Zuhören zu erschaffen.

Ich finde, dass dieses Lied doch schon sehr hörenswert ist,
denn es hat schon einen ganzen Haufen Heavy Metal Einflüsse
und es hört sich klasse an.

Das Lied das Iron Maiden für sich selbst geschrieben
haben oder so. Witzig ist das z.B. in Winamp bei
Name \"Iron Maiden\" steht und auch bei Künstler
und CD :-)

Nach den Audiotracks gibt es noch einen Datentrack auf der
CD mit den beiden Live-Videos von Iron Maiden und Phantom
Of The Opera, leider (wieder mal) nur im .mov-Format, trotzdem
in einer guten Auflösung. Dazu gibt es noch Bandinformationen
und die Möglichkeit in jeweils 30 Sekunden eines Liedes von
(fast) allen Iron-Maiden CD\'s reinzuhören.

Fazit : Die CD hat sich echt gelohnt, und ich hab sie nicht
mal bezahlen müssen - Geburtstag ist doch was schönes :-)
