OrangeGlo Kaboom! - Bathroom Cleaner 2in1 Testbericht

I love this store near Cologne, Walmart. My fiance visit it often to see the special offers. Sometimes we find some really great stuff for a cheap price. It was those weekly events to Bed Bath and Beyond where I found Kaboom Shower, Tub and Tile Cleaner.

The Packaging~

Kaboom Shower, Tub and Tile Cleaner comes in a beautiful deep purple bottle of 32 oz. On the front of the bottle, Kaboom Shower, Tub and Tile Cleaner claims it will "aggressively clean:"

Soap Scum
Dirt
Grout
Hard Water Buildup
Calcium and Lime Stains
Rust Stains

Normally at the price of 2-3€ at Walmart. For such a small price I decided to pick it up and give it a try.

~The Test~

I have hard water in my apartment which quickly creates dirt and grime in my both of my bathroom. So when I read the back of the bottle that Kaboom takes on soap scum and has the power of all "natural cleaning ingredients," I was excited to see if this was a true.

I didn't clean the shower, toilet and countertops for 2 weeks before using the Kaboom Shower, Tub and Tile Cleaner. I wanted the dirtiness to collect itself in my bathrooms. Two weeks later I was rady for the test.

The Directions for Kaboom~

1. Test in an inconspicuous area before use.
2. Apply directly to surface or with a sponge and let stand for 1 to 3 minutes.
3. Wipe and Rinse thoroughly with water to avoid drying on surface.
4. Repeat as necessary. After use rinse sponge with water.

I followed the directions to a "T" and wanted to see if I was going to get Big Results. Well I must say that although Kaboom leaves a clean scent in my bathroom after use, it doesn't clean well at all.

I worked with it on my tile, tubs and showers. It took way too much scrubbing to get my bathrooms cleans. I had always used Scrubbing Bubbles Cleaning Products and they did such a great job. So that was I was comparing Kaboom to.

Kaboom Shower, Tub and Tile Cleaner comes out like a foam when you pull the trigger. In my experience, I had to be close to the service to spray or else it would just slide away never hitting the shower stall. So it doesn't have a lot of distance with the foam.

I have to say that Kaboom did not "aggressively clean" my two bathrooms. I had to break out my Scrubbing Bubbles to re-do each bathroom and get the soap scum off and my hard water stains.

You should be cautious when using Kaboom. I always wear protective gloves in case I get any cleaner on my hands and arms. It is harmful if you should swallow it and also can create problems for you should you get some in your eye. Poison Control will be to the rescue if so.
