Zweifellos ist dieser Film ein Arthouse-Film, was die Fans von Tim Burton und/oder Johnny Depp nicht davon abhalten sollte, ihn sich anzuschauen, auch wenn sie sonst eher auf Mainstream stehen.

Trotz "schwarz weiß", was manch einen stören mag, ein gelungenes Meisterwerk; welches durch den absoluten Top-Darsteller noch eine Spur genialer wirkt. Einer der definitiven Lieblingsfilme von mir, wenngleich man diesen nicht in allzu kurzen Abständen hinternander sehen sollte.
