Black Eyed Peas - Elephunk Testbericht

Hallo

Heute möchte ich einen kleinen Bericht über die Gruppe THEBLACKEYEDPEAS schreiben. Ich war, als ich den Song, Where is the Love zum erstenmal hörte sofort von der Musik der Gruppe fasziniert. Das Lied ist einfach spitze und man kann es sich immer wieder anhören.
In Where is the love geht es um Kinder und Frieden auf der Welt. Der Song hat mich wenn ich ehrlich bin berührt, da der Text auf wirklich schreckliche Dinge aus der Welt anspielt, wie es auch im Refrain deutlich gemacht wird. Die Gruppe spielt auch in ihrem Video immer wieder auf die Frage:“ Where is the Love“ an, in dem sie das Fragezeichen immer wieder ins Spiel bringt. Mir war die Gruppe vorher nicht bekannt, besteht allerdings schon seit 1992 und hat bis jetzt 3 Alben herausgebracht, das erste erschien 1998.Die beiden ersten Alben hießen: Behind the Front und Bridging the Gap.
Das Aktuelle Album heißt ELEPHUNK( 14 Titel) und jeder der diese Musikrichtung bevorzugt sollte sich mal das komplette Album anhören.


Die Gruppe besteht aus 4 Mitgliedern, 1 Frau und 3 Männern, der große Durchbruch gelang ihnen bei uns in Deutschland mit der Singel: Where is the Love und rangierte lange auf Platz eins der Charts. Worauf ich aber in meinem Bericht hinaus will, ist!
Ich hatte das Vergnügen die Gruppe Live zu sehen. Ich befand mich auf Geschäftsreise in England (Birmingham) und es war gerade ein Christina Aguilera Konzert, ich dachte mir wenn ich schon ml da bin kann ich mir auch mal die Christina anschauen. Über die Vorgruppen konnte man keine Infos bekommen also lies ich mich überraschen und welch ein Zufall, Die Black Eyed Peas waren die Vorgruppe.
Ich kann euch nur soviel sagen, sollte ihr die Möglichkeit haben die Gruppe mal Live zu sehen, macht es. Ich war total beeindruckt, die Gruppe heizte den rund 8000 Leuten so was von ein, selbst Christina konnte diese Stimmung nicht Toppen.
Live hören sie sich an wie von der CD, nicht jeder kann Live singen aber die Gruppe hat es drauf, glaubt mir. Die Bühnenshow lies zwar etwas zu wünschen übrig, man wurde aber durch die Stimmung und das anheizen der Menge durch die Gruppe voll entschädigt. Ich konnte danach sagen, das es eines meiner besten Konzerte überhaupt war. Leider werden wir hier in Deutschland nicht in den Preislichen Genus kommen wie ich es in England erfahren durfte, denn das zahlte ich für das Konzert runde 17 Pfund, was etwa 25 € entspricht. Zum vergleicht, Ch. Aguilera kostet bei uns eine Karte 44 €.

Mein Tipp ist also, seht sie euch mal an und ihr werdet meiner Meinung sein.
