Der Ton liegt in Englisch und Deutsch in Dolby Digital vor. Meist wird nur gesprochen und für die ab und zu einsetzenden Musikeinlagen reicht der Surround-Sound völlig aus. Leider wirken die Stimmen der Darsteller etwas "dumpf", was aber nur bei genauerem Hinhören auffällt. -

Noch vor Terminator 2 drehte Cameron diesen Unterwasser Abenteuerfilm. Bis auf das etwas zu kitschige Ende wird hier erstklassige Unterhaltung mit viel Sppannung und tollen Effekten geboten. Leider kann die DVD da technisch nicht mithalten. -

Meiner Ansicht nach, lohnt sich der Kauf der DVD nur für wirkliche Fans dieses Films, ansonsten kann man sich die DVD auch mal in der Videothek ausleihen, das dürfte genügen.
