Der Film ist (dennoch) empfehlenswert. Eine einfach sehr gute Geisterstory mit erstklassigen Schauspielern und einem wirklichen Überraschungsmoment. Einmal ansehen reicht jedoch ;-) 4 Sterne.
Amenábars ist ein Meister der Wendungen und des Tempos, leider nicht ganz der Logik. Sofern er dies auch noch schafft ist er perfekt. -

Hatte den Film das erste mal im Fernsehen gesehen und ich war nach 20 Minuten darauf und dran den Sender zu wechseln. Ich war doch schon etwas gelangweilt . Doch dann ist er doch immer interessanter geworden -

Wie schon erwähnt würde ich diesen Film nicht als typischen Horrorfilm bezeichnen, sondern wohl eher als eine Art Psycho-Thriller. Ich denke ich kann diesen Film weiter empfehlen, wenn ihr gerne ein bißchen mitdenkt! -

Grace (Nicole Kidman) lebt mit ihren beiden Kindern allein in ihrem großen Herrenhaus mitten im Nirgendwo. Bald kommt es im Haus zu merkwürdigen Ereignissen - sind es Geister? Und was wissen die neuen Angestellten darüber? Ein spannender Film mit guten Darstellern! -

Ein einerseits leicht gruseliger und andererseits dramatischer und auch trauriger Film mit verwirrenden und anrührenden Szenen. Erst gegen Ende erfährt man worum es eigentlich wirklich geht. Eine interessante Überraschung ist garantiert! -
